Computer Consultations & Setups are a smart choice for customers because they can save you a lot of money!
HOW IT WORKS:
✅ Consultation Service: I will assist in answering all your questions and recommend various purchasing options based on your budget. You buy your new computer directly from the manufacturer (think HP, Dell, etc.), often taking advantage of their excellent pricing, warranties, and sales promotions.
✅ Setup Service: Once your computer arrives, I handle everything else locally. It includes backing up and transferring your old data to your new computer (photos, videos, documents, etc.), setting up accounts*, reinstalling and updating any software** you have or want, setting up printers, and removing unwanted software (extra pre-installed apps that many customers don’t want or use). I can customize almost everything to your liking. Once finished, I back it all up to the Cloud so you’ll never have to worry about it again. If you have multiple computers or data that you want added to your new system, I can do that too.

Home Networking and Peripherals
Residential Wireless Networking:
Losing connectivity at home due to the multitude of connected devices? Have dead zones or slow Wi-Fi speeds in areas of your home? Maybe it’s time to talk to us about updating your router or adding an extender.
The Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6e, and Wi-Fi 6+ branding (which is basically an additional Wi-Fi 5 band and doesn't do much to future-proof your home network) is more like a cheaper band-aid than a solution.
Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6e routers are the newest. Some offerings are whole-home or singular solutions that add an entirely new 6GHz band along with the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands that are already there. These are the only true tri-band routing solutions, which can give you the ability to increase the number of connected devices within your home without losing connections to the internet. [Think SMART HOME: the newest iterations of Google TV, Amazon's Fire TV Sticks/Cubes, laptops, desktops, Alexa devices, lights, door locks, cameras, and everything in between.]
All new Wi-Fi systems are backwards compatible, so if you decide to purchase such a system, all your older devices will work with the new platform.
